Obituary of Lucille M. Baier

Lucille M. Baier, age 84 of W. Main Street, Lima, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Avon Nursing Home. Lucille was born in Rochester, NY on October 19, 1925, the daughter of Paul and Catherine Pfeiffer Baier. She was a member of St. Rose Church in Lima, a 38 year retiree of Rochester Telephone where she started as a operator and then worked as an assignor and was a member of Rochester Telephone Pioneers. Ms. Baier was predeceased by her parents and also her sister, Sylvia B. Shaw. She is survived by her sister, Dolores Root of Honeoye; niece, Sylvia C. Shaw of West Henrietta; nephews, Richard (Bev) Shaw, Mark Shaw all of Rochester, Dan (Deb) Shaw of Honeoye; 3 great nephews and 2 great nieces. Friends may call Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 2, 2010 at 10 am at St. Rose Church, Lima. Burial, St. Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, masses may be offered for the repose of her soul.
