Obituary of Mary Grace Ollivett

Mary Grace Ollivett of Rush, NY, formerly of Arlington, NY, died peacefully, Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at age 89. She was born the daughter of Charles and Mary Eidle Britteau on May 28, 1921 in Canadale, CT. She was a retired secretary for the Arlington Jr. High School. Mary was very active in the Girl Scouts, member of the CSEA, active member of Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie for over 50 years and she also delivered Meals on Wheels. She was predeceased by her husband, Chester. Mary is survived by her children, Len Ollivett of Richland, NY; Coralie (J. Edward) Foerschler; Nancy (Robert) Gehri all of Pell City, Alabama; Joan (Frank) Tasber of Rush; Paul (Susan) Ollivett of Millbrook, NY; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Special thanks to Amy Patterson, Mary's caregiver and friend. No prior calling. Friends may attend her Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph's Church, 6105 Rush-Lima Road, Rush. Burial, Calvary Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
