We just want to send our thoughts and prayers to all who loved and cared for Uncle Art. Remembering him brings happy memories of our own Florence Vogt Gast and all the Vogt sisters and brothers, in-laws and cousins. We fondly remember the stories of the California days of Art, Elsa and Florence and the meeting with John Gast at the Lutheran Church. We are now 2 and 3 generations past those days, but still connected by the love of Jesus Christ. Peace to all. Wish we could be there to share with you in person. Love, Jim and Jenny Gast and Family

Dear Aunt Florence -
We are so sorry to hear the news. We all wish we could be there for you. You two were together a long time and were inseperable. I remember you guys as always taking the long trips, probably the last long one was out here to see us. We miss you.
Since Arts favorite drink was a Manhattan, I will have my own toast to him on west coast.........Linda just lit a candle.
Take care -
Jeff, Linda and Bryce
