Obituary of Richard N. Yantz

Richard N. Yantz, "Dick" of Honeoye Falls, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. He was 83. Dick was born the son of Norman and Hazel Calvan Yantz on June 1, 1927 in Greece, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Orlean "Bibber", his sons, James (Karen) Yantz of Walworth and Ronald Yantz of Lima. Sisters, Jean (Leslie) Strapp and Nancy Miller. Brother, Norman (Shirley) Yantz; several nieces, nephews and many close friends. Richard worked for Manitou Construction for 38 years before retiring. He also served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1947. Friends may call Monday, November 29, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 30 at 11 am. Burial with Military Honors will be in Mendon Cemetery.
