Obituary of Carlton G. Bushman

Carlton G. Bushman of Short Tract, NY and formerly of Honeoye Falls, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville. Carl was 71. He was born the son of Glen and Myrtle Doesser Bushman in Rochester, NY on October 5, 1939. He was predeceased by his son, CJ Bushman in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kay; daughter, Sandy Kennedy of Short Tract; grandson, Jaremy Becker; sister, Joyce (Don) Semmel of Lima; aunt, Betty Parker of Henrietta; mother in law, Sophie Galbally of Avon; sisters in law, Joan (Lee) Countryman of Rush, Mary Mancuso of TX; brother in law Jim Galbally of Rush; special friends, Rick Wendt and Dale Wolfer; several nieces and nephews. Carl was a former member of the Rush Fire Department, a life member of the Honeoye Falls Fire Department and was currently President of the Short Tract Fire Department. Carl retired a electrician from the Local IBEW 86 in Rochester. He served in the US Navy from 1961-1967. Friends may call Friday, December 3, 2010 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 4 at 10 am at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 37 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls.
