Obituary of Larry L. Hillabrandt

Dr. Larry L. Hillabrandt of Honeoye Falls, NY, died suddenly Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at his home. He was 63. Larry was born the son of Ronald and Marion Smith Hillabrandt on April 5, 1947 in Amsterdam, NY. He earned a M.S. in Business Administration at Purdue University and worked for Mobil Chemical in both the US and Canada where he was instrumental in developing their computer systems. Most recently he owned a computer consulting company. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Beverly Ann, son Larry Jr. (Yan and stepson Bobby Chen) of Carmel, Indiana and many lifelong friends. Larry was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and golfer. He enjoyed cooking for and entertaining his friends and was well known for his clambakes and Super Bowl gatherings. Larry was a founding member of the Mendon Foundation and belonged to the Royal Order of Masons. Calling hours will be Friday, January 14, 6-9 p.m. at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Funeral service Saturday, January 15, 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 27 North Main Street, Honeoye Falls. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation, 100 Arbor Avenue, Nebraska City, Nebraska, 68410, the Humane Society at Lollipop Farm, 99 Victor Rd.
