Obituary of Roy E. Brown

Roy E. Brown of North Rose, died January 14, 2011 at the Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus. He was 95. Roy was born the son of Walter and Ethel Brown on May 28, 1915 in Rochester, NY. He was a WW II Army Veteran and a member of the VFW Post 2700. He retired from Aquinas High School. Predeceased by his wife Mary; brothers, Toby, Bill, Don, Sid and Charlie; sisters, Sue and Lucille; daughter in law Eunice Brown. He is survived by sons, Jack and Edward (Julia) Brown all of N. Rose; several grandchildren; step children, Tessie, Shirley, Bob and Jackie; many nieces, nephews and relatives. No prior calling. A Memorial service at the North Rose Methodist Church in the spring will be announced at a later date. Burial will be held in Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Blossom View Nursing Home, 6884 Maple Ave., Sodus, NY 14551.
