Obituary of William Frazier Parsons

Bill Parsons went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 25, 2011 after a life full of blessed years. He was the faithful husband to Lucy for 61 years and the loving father of William (Karen Grosser), Lynn Chorich (Jack) and Stephen (Sandra); grandfather to Benjamin, Jonathan, Barak, Timothy, Andrew and Katelyn; also survived by his sister in law Priscilla Parsons (Marcus) and brother in law Ernest Lynn (Lois) along with nephews, Mark and John Parsons, Curtis Lynn and nieces Kathy Lynn and Elaine Botsford and many cousins. Bill was born to Lindley and Mabelle Foss Parsons of Skowhegan Maine in 1918. He was an active member in many ways at the North Baptist church for over 60 years. He was a patriotic citizen and helpful neighbor in the town of Rush and in Honeoye Falls. Bill will be remembered for his love of family, hard work as an employee and as a faithful friend. He enjoyed fly fishing, working in the woods, gardening and other outdoor activities. Most of all, he was a faithful man of God, who studied his Bible, served his lord and lived a Christian life. He woke up a few days ago to the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant.Enter into the joy of your Lord." (Matthew 25:21) Friends may call Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 7-9 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, March 30 at 11 am at Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush. Memorials may be made to the North Baptist Church, 2052 St. Paul St., Rochester, NY 14621. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
