Obituary of Donald E. Northrup

Donald E. Northrup of Honeoye Falls died Monday, May 30, 2011 at age 82. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia in 2001. Don was born January 26, 1929 in Penn Yan, NY the son of Edgar and Edith Rex Northrup. He owned and operated Northrup Excavating and Paving in Victor. Don was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Church in Honeoye Falls for many years. He is survived by his children, Mary (Henry) Rose, Barbara DiMartino, Beverly (Dale) Lovejoy, Donald (Juanita Donato) Northrup, Craig (Lori) Northrup, Paul (Teresa) Northrup; grandchildren, Tracy (David) Poole, Brent (Megan) Rose, Chip Northrup, Nichole Northrup, Kyle (Colleen) DiMartino, Shawn Lovejoy, Ariel (Michael Erbelding) Lovejoy, Kelly Lovejoy, Michael, Lillian, Patrick, Anna and Peter Northrup; great grandchildren, Amelia Poole, Marlee Poole, Liam Rose and Elyse DiMartino; siblings, Thelma (Alvin) Housel, Velma Fitzsimmons, Shirley Ketcham, Ernest (Emily), Harold (Betty); sister in law Sandy Northrup; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 3 at 10 am at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 37 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Burial St. Paul of the Cross Cemetery.
