Obituary of Donald E. Bock

Donald E. Bock of Rush, NY died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at his home. He was 77. He was born the son of Raymond and Lucy Fowler Bock on March 20, 1934 in Rush, NY. He was a life member of the Rush Fire Department and was a member of the Rush Senior Citizens. He was a retiree of Kodak after 42 years of service and worked for the Rush Henrietta Transportation Department for 20 years. Don was predeceased by his brothers, Charles and Lee. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Virginia; his children, Michele (James) Hicks; Brian Bock; Diane Blacken and David (Barbara) Bock; grandchildren, Christopher Blacken, Shawn and Lindsay Heckler, Kimberly, Rachel and Michael Bock; great grandchild Hailey Blacken; sisters, Evelyn (Vince) Giuseppetti, Doris (Raymond) Sutton; brother, Robert (Ruth) Bock; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 7-9 pm and Friday July 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, NY. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday July 23, at 10 am at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 779 Erie Station Rd, W. Henrietta. Burial, Pine Hill Cemetery.
