Obituary of Rosemary MacDougall

Rosemary MacDougall of Honeoye Falls, NY passed away at her home on March 7, 2012, at age 76 after a short illness. Rosemary was born May 23, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ the daughter of James and Frances Kessler McKenna. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald T. MacDougall; grandson, Peter J. Cannon; and sister, Joan Tyne. Rosemary is survived by her devoted children, Linda (Don Briggs) MacDougall, Suzanne (William) Cannon, David MacDougall and Dennis (Clive) MacDougall-Purnell; grandchildren Nicole and Sarah Briggs, Matthew (Barb) Cannon, Emily (Glen) Labenski, Brian Cannon, Kevin and Ryan MacDougall; great grandson, Tyler Cannon; sisters, Barbara (Jack) Ganley, Patricia (Joseph) Flannigan, Doris (Richard) Yeager; brother in law, Joseph MacDougall, and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Rosemary's life at 11 am on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 26 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemary's memory may be made to Friends of the Mendon Public Library, 22 North Main Street, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472. Rosemary will be remembered for her bright smile, joyous laughter, passion for reading and singing, as well as her love for her family and many wonderful friends.
