Obituary of Madge E. Potter

Madge E. Potter of Honeoye Falls, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at age 81. She was born the daughter of Gardiner and Hazel Wasson Gilbert on August 1, 1930 in Oakfield, NY. Madge was a longtime member of the Honeoye Falls First Presbyterian Church and retired from the Town of Mendon as Town Clerk. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; grandsons, Kyle Marchase and Michael Potter. Survived by her children, Anne (Steve) Goodberlet, Carol (Mark) Marchase, David (Julie Linden), Roger (Patty), and Laura (Mike) Voss; beloved companion, Walter Eckhart; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Hazen, Deane (Sally) and Duane (Terry) Gilbert; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Funeral Services will be held privately.
