Obituary of Wanda L. Laemlein
Wanda L. Laemlein of Honeoye Falls, NY died April 4, 2012 at age 91. Wanda was born the daughter of Adalbert and Maryanna Rybicka Zajonczkowski on July 18, 1920 in Rochester, NY. Wanda was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Church, was a supporter of the Mendon Public Library, the Historical Society, was an avid gardener, loved to bake and watch the food channel. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl; sister, Mary Kling; brothers, Stanley and Edwin Zajonczkowski and Walter Zajonczkoski. Survived by her children, John (Lee Mullen) Laemlein, Robert (Jean) Laemlein, Mary (Douglas) Ross, Nancy (Robert Begg) Laemlein and Thomas (Jennifer) Laemlein; grandchildren, Lindsay, Sarah, Catherine Ross, Jessi Laemlein, Kelly McFarland, Fred Tan and Maribel Laemlein; numerous great grandchildren; sister in law, Frances Oosterling; brother in law, Larry O'Brien. Several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday, April 13, 2012 from 5-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 14 at 10 am at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 37 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls. Burial, St. Rose Cemetery, Lima. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 335 or the Honeoye Falls Historical Society, 1 Allen Park Drive, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472.
