Obituary of Stanley Ellis

Stanley Ellis of Lima, NY, on June 27, 2012 Heaven received a new Angel. He was born the son of Matthew and Edith Irvine Ellis on March 20, 1936 in Belfast, Ireland. He was a retiree of the Gunlocke Co. in Wayland. Stanley was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a talented entertainer, musician and craftsman. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Betsy. Survived by his daughters, Karen Holden, Tracey (Dave) Gaulin and Lesley (Brian) Galle; grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua, Morgan, Kyle, Alexandra and Logann; sister, Vera McDade; many nieces, nephews and great friends. Friends may call Friday July 6 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Services will be held Saturday, 1 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 27 N. Main St. Honeoye Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial to the American Cancer Society or to the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14614.
