Dora was one of the greatest women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will miss her so much! I'll never forget our visits and talks and all of the love that she showed me over the years. My life was made better by knowing Dora. I have the pleasure of spending a great deal of time with Dora the last month while she was in the hospital. She was a favorite among her nurses and doctors and roommates. She always had a story to tell them, a joke, or her wonderful smile to share with them. I will forever treasure every second that I spent with Dora. Thank you for volunteering to be my "adoptive" Grandma<3 We will love you always!!! Now I have another special guardian angel to watch over me...I hope I can continue to make you proud! I will never forget you and your fancy new shoes and slacks, Im sorry that you never made it home again to wear them:( May you rest in peace....until we meet again! <3

My condolences to John and family. Aunt Dora was a kind hearted person who lived a full life.
I'll always remember her laughter at family gatherings and picnics at her home running around in the barns as kids. I'm lucky enough to still have 2 of her beautiful quilts.

Don't know where to begin. Dora lived life to the fullest and made the most of every day. She has been a true blessing in our lives and we won't know what to do without her. I think the thing we will miss the most is her smile and our lovely visits. We were truly blessed to have her in our lives. Thank you John and Kathy for sharing her with us. She was like a Grandma to Mindi and Adam. Just like you told Ken - - you will be in our hearts forever.
