The Smith Family,
We were privileged and honored to have known Leland Smith, who we first met in the 1990's, in Maryland, when Hazel and Iryll were going through their own health related problems.
We recognized very quickly, that Leland was an unusually dignified man of principal, honor, strength, honesty and family values. In a short period of time, we were proud to call both Leland and Alma, our good friends.
It is extremely hard to lose such a gifted and wonderful man, but please take some comfort in the knowledge that Leland had a positive influence on the lives of many people, as well as, making the world a better place to live.
Our deepest condolences are extended to the entire Smith family, on the loss of your beloved Leland.
Leland, we salute you on a life well lived and job well done - Rest in Peace!
