Obituary of James S. Doyle

Honeoye Falls: Doyle, James S. Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on June 10, 2016 at age 89. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean Delaney Doyle, his children Peter (Nancy), Mary (Pete) Szlosek, Anne (Chris) Miller, his grandchildren PJ (Nina) Doyle, Caitlin and Edward Szlosek, Claire, Charlie and Max Miller, and one great-granddaughter, Harper Doyle. Jim was born on October 2, 1926 in Nunda, NY to James P. and M. Alice Doyle. He proudly served as a Lt. JG in the US Navy during the Korean War on board the USS Missouri. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1951 and 1953. He was co-founder and CFO of Electronic Accounting Systems (EAS). He later retired from the Diocese of Rochester. Friends may call at Merton Kays Funeral Home, 59 Monroe St., Honeoye Falls, Monday 4-7 PM. Jim's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1985 Lake Ave, Lima. Interment, St. Rose Cemetery.
