Obituary of Thomas E. West

Thomas E. West of Honeoye Falls, NY died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Advent House in Fairport. He was age 84. Tom was born the son of Joseph and Violet Jarrett West on October 29, 1928 in Nanticoke, PA. Tom was a member of the Honeoye Falls United Methodist Church, the Honeoye Falls Fire Department for over 35 years and the Honeoye Falls American Legion Post 664. He served his country in the Army from 1951 to 1953. Tom was predeceased by his wife Edith in 2010. Tom is survived by his daughters Beverly (Ed) Leach of Ozark, AL; Lisa (John) Smillie of Brighton, grandchildren Mackenzie and Caroline Smillie and Andrew, Zachary and Jordon Leach; brother Arthur (Bernice) West of PA; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, June 28, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls where Services will be held Saturday 10 am. Burial will be held in Honeoye Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Honeoye Falls Fire Department, 7 Monroe Street, the Honeoye Falls American Legion Post 664, 167 N.
