Obituary of Anthony J. Amorese

Anthony J. Amorese "Tony", of Scottsdale, AZ and formerly of Honeoye Falls, died Sunday, August 7, 2016 in Scottsdale at the Hospice of the Valley. He was 89. Tony was born the son of Pasquale and Nellie Stefano on February 18, 1927 in Rochester, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Gary, brother John and sister Carol Amorese. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 68 years, Kay; his daughter, Linda Abbott, FL; sons, A. James (Maria), AZ, and Paul G. (Amy), CA; grandchildren, Justin Abbott, Jennifer Gaitin, Norma (Layeth) Azzez, Susie Amorese and James Amorese; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Angela Ford, CA; brothers, Pat (Jeanette) and Vito "Pete" (Cindy; sister-in-law, Claudia Amorese ) all of Honeoye Falls; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 1-5 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 am at St. Paul of the Cross, Honeoye Falls.
