Obituary of Douglas S. Cox

Douglas S. Cox of Honeoye Falls, died Monday, December 5, 2016 at age 86. Douglas was born March 19, 1930 in Rochester, NY the son of Frank and Marjorie Hatch Cox. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marilyn; his children, Katherine (Stephen) Watkins, Douglas (Cathleen) Cox and Tracy (Cliff) Brown; grandchildren, W. Teal and Ian Watkins, Kyle and Cody Kay, Evan and Shawn Cox; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Cailen Cox. Friends may call Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 1-4 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Funeral Service will be MONDAY, December 12 at 11 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 25 Westminster Road, Rochester. Memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation or to one's favorite charity.
