Obituary of Stewart E. Ackerman

Stewart E. Ackerman of Honeoye Falls, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at age 86. He was born the son of Randolph and Edna Woods Ackerman on May 9, 1930 oin Newbury Port, MA. He was a retired poultry specialist and worked for Cornell Cooperative Extension in Rochester. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Honeoye Falls. Stewart was predeceased by his wife, Ruth in 2016 and daughter, Jennifer in 1985. He is survived by his son, Lawrence Ackerman and daughter Carol (Gary Graves) McCoon; grandson, Everett (Kerri) Cooley and Dan (Meghan) McCoon; great grandchildren, Emily and Nathan Cooley and Abigail McCoon. Friends may call Friday, January 20, 2017 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Services Saturday 10:30 am at the First Presbyterian Church, N.
