Obituary of Rodney A. Parmelee

Rodney A. Parmelee of Honeoye Falls, NY died suddenly on February 9, 2017 at age 70. He was born the son of Ronald and Millie Shelly Parmelee on May 1, 1946 in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Ronald (Red) and Millie Parmelee. Rodney was a member of the Falls Post 664 and the Honeoye Falls Fire Department. He was also very active in the community in many other areas. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Harriet; sons Casey (Elizabeth), Shane (Kelli); grandchildren, Ella and Hayden Parmelee; sisters Joan (Gordon) Smith, Marilyn (Joseph) DeSain; and nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday, February 17th from 4-8pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, February 18th at 10am at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 37 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. An honor guard procession from the church to Honeoye Falls Cemetery will follow the funeral mass.
