Obituary of Giorgio Daniel Bracaglia
Giorgio Daniel "Danny" Bracaglia, Jr., 24, of Honeoye Falls, NY, passed away suddenly on March 17th. He was born in Rochester, NY on March 2, 1993. Danny was pursuing a degree in Interactive Media Design at Bryant and Stratton College in Buffalo. Danny was an avid writer, musician, and artist. More than anything, Danny loved all aspects of nature, especially his animals. He enrolled in the US National Guard at 17, completing Basic and Infantry trainings during the summers before he graduated from Honeoye Falls-Lima High School. He was deployed after starting college. He served in Afghanistan, Operation Freedom, in 2012 and returned home. His duties continued with the Army National Guard as a Cavalry Scout until receiving an honorable discharge in 2016. He worked at Wegmans and Lowes upon returning home. After 2 ½ years of working, he returned to college. Danny is survived by his father, Giorgio, mother, Joni (Dolan), sisters, Madison and Kristina, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. His spirit of kindness and many silent acts of generosity will live on in our memory of Danny. He touched everyone he encountered with his special gifts and unique humor. Calling hours are Thursday, March 23rd, 4-8pm, Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. His life will be celebrated at an 11am service on Friday, March 24th at St. Paul of the Cross, 31 Monroe St., Honeoye Falls.
