Obituary of Homer A. Hogle

Homer Arthur Hogle passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the age of 92 years old. Homer was born in Pierrepont, New York on November 23, 1924 to Milford and Myrtle Hogle. Homer was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cecile, who greeted him with loving arms. They were married on October 9, 1943. He was survived by their six children; Homer Jr. Hogle and wife Helen of Marshall, Texas; Douglas Hogle and his wife Donna of Avon, New York; Sharon Hogle of Greece, New York; Ronald Hogle and wife Cathy of Scottsville, New York; Roger Hogle and wife Terry of Irving, Texas; and Eunice Blocksdorf and husband Gary of West Webster, New York. He was also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Homer was a loving husband, father and friend to all. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 10 am at St. Marianne Cope Parish in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1209 Rush-Lima Road, Rush, NY. Graveside will follow immediately at Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush.
