Obituary of Daniel Peters

Daniel Peters, 48, died suddenly at home on Monday, May 22, 2017. Born on October 28, 1968, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Dan attended Saint Peter's Prep and Manhattanville College where he met his future wife, Kimberly, on the first day of freshman orientation. He was an Application Development Manager for Wegmans where he worked for 20 years and was also long-time assessor for the town of West Bloomfield. Dan was an Eagle Scout, Boy Scout leader and a youth soccer coach. Dan was a devoted husband and father. He leaves behind his wife, Kim, his son Brett, and his daughters Gwendolyn and Ella. He is also survived by his brothers David (Christine) and Richard (Barbara) and many adored nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Rosemarie (Lombardo) and Hank Peters. Services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Honeoye Falls United Methodist Church, 31 East St., Honeoye Falls, New York. Burial will be on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 9 AM at the North Bloomfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the HFL District PTA, 20 Church St, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472.
