We just got the news (in Guam) of Mr. Barnes' passing. He was a stalwart and great man. He always had a good antidote, guidance, or story to share and certainly one of the most unique smiles we've ever seen. He will be sorely missed but we are eternally grateful to have met him (through our buddy Larry) and benefit from his life.
Fair winds Mr. Barnes and deepest conveyance of sympathy to the Family.

What a fabulous neighbor was John (and Robbie)! A lover of all outdoors, we shared a common love of Keuka Lake. And John introduced me to the important role we all have to protect the environment...leading me to sit on the Executive council of the EMC
. I remember many Christmas events at their home and ours...and spending great times with their family. Thoughtful, always friendly, excellent woodworker, I will greatly miss John..may he and Robbie rest in peace with a life so richly lived and having touching so many lives ...
