Suzanne Coyle

Obituary of Suzanne J. Coyle

Suzanne J. Coyle survived by her husband of 38 years Ronald J. Coyle, her son Josh (Nichole Arnold) Coyle and her daughter Jonell (James "Bud") Lewis; brothers, Ronald (Pat) Joint and Dick (Heidi Knickerbocker) Joint; sister, Bev (Ed) Matthews and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving parents Harold and Irma Joint and her nephew Ricky Joint. Suz loved her family above everything else. She was very close with her mother and lived with her until she got married and then moved back in with her with her family 16 years later, and was there for her until she passed in 2004. Religiously her family would come over every week for Saturday morning coffee where she made toast for whoever wanted it. Her siblings couldn't have had a better little sister and she cherished the relationship she had with each of them. She loved all her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, she never let them leave without a goodbye hug, she also would attend their sporting events and loved watching 4 years of Harvard Women's ice hockey. She loved her grand puppies Walker, Rypien and Kylo and cherished her time with them. As devout Lutheran she faithfully attended church her whole life. She loved singing in the church choir with her great friends. Her faith stayed with her even during the struggles and the end but she knew she was with the lord when she peacefully passed. She was an active member in the fire department auxiliary for years and a big time supporter of the Mendon Fire Department where Harold Joint, Ron Joint, Dick Joint, Ron Coyle, (Ricky Joint) and Josh Coyle all were long time members. If you were looking for her on Tuesday nights she was cheering on her brother Dick faithfully at his softball games and was a staple at Mendon Fire Department softball on Sunday nights. She worked as an office manager at Shrier Martin Process Equipment for over 30 years, where she retired a few years ago. She had been working at the Mendon pharmacy for the better half of ten years, three days a week. Suz was a genuine person and left an impression on all the met her. Her smile was infectious and it will be with us forever. Friends may call Monday, September 4, 2017 from 2-6 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls.
