Obituary of Sally A. Sayer

Sally A. Sayer of Lima and formerly of Alfred Station, Thursday November 2, 2017 after a short illness was called by the Lord while surrounded by her loved ones at age 70. She was born the daughter of Harold and Mary Brown Eddy on March 16, 1947 in Wellsville, NY. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Eddy. Sally is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert; daughter, Katherine (Gary Adams); sons, James (Deborah) and Eric; grandchildren, Connor, Kyle, Carter, Mitchell, Brendon, Erica and Bridgette; father, Harold Eddy; siblings, Juanita Shaffer, John (Marilyn), George (Lynn), Martin (Kathi), Ruth (Alan) Aultman, Bill (Arlene), Rose (Paul) Landis and Ellen (Larry) Lamphier; many nieces and nephews. Sally was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Honeoye Falls, where she was a past deacon and is a member of the Findlay Circle and the Presbytery Woman's Association; she was the oldest of 9 children, a dedicated gardener, loving wife, a devout grandmother and an absolutely wonderful lady. Always put others before herself, and we are sure that she will continue to watch over us all in her special place in Heaven. Friends may call Friday, November 10, 2017 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls. Funeral Service Saturday 11 am at the First Presbyterian Church, 27 N. Main St. Honeoye Falls.
