To the family,
You all are in my prayers and thoughts. Uncle Jimmy impacted my life an amazing way. I am so thankful for his love and care which he gave unconditionally. To Dear Kay and the Killenbec boys and their families. John, Jerry, Ronny and Joe. James Robert Killenbec was a small built guy but had the personality the size of John Wayne. All who knew Jim recognized the cowboy boots, hat and jacket where ever he was. After knowing him for over 50 years we learned there was a right way, the wrong way and the Killenbec way which we say with a great big smile. He was a great mechanic but did try to get to heaven earlier via a tire to the ceiling in his garage. It was not one of his better ideas. His famous 57 chevy bears his craftsmanship of vehicle restorations. Jim had two loves in his life, our sister Frannie the mother of his four sons. When Fran passed away it was a difficult time for Jim and his family and then dear Kay csme into his life and brought much joy and dancing to his feet and gave life to his heart again.
To each of you we extend our deepest sympathy and may all of the many happy memories of your times together be always in your hearts and souls. Please know we love you all.

My wife and I didn't know Jimmy socially. He worked on our cars, so we can only remember him in his role as a business man. As a businessman he was scrupulously honest, fair, and very good at his job. It is a wonderful thing to have a mechanic you trust. It is a comfort that eases the dread we feel when our car makes a funny noise. That was a gift he gave to his customers. We thank him for it. He will be missed.

I didn't know Jimmy real well and I haven't seen or spoken with him in many years but periodically I've thought of him and how helpful he always was working on my GMC Jimmy. I knew I could trust and depend on him to work on my vehicle. It is obvious that he was a very kind hearted person. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and the community.

When I think of Uncle Jimmy, I think of his love for his family and the love his family has for him. In the past few months I have often thought of the picture I took of him when we were hiking in Inlet, New York area. This picture and the memory of that day has become very precious to me. My heart is deeply saddened for Aunt Kay, John, Jerry, Ron and Joe, and his daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, siblings and step-children. Uncle Jimmy will always have a special place in my heart.

My thoughts and prayers are with his boys and siblings as well as other close famity and friends. I will always remember how nice and giving of himself he has always been. My God bless Uncle Jimmy on his new journey.
