Hilda was a devoted mother, a tireless worker and always had a positive attitude and great humor to go with that attitude.
I remember the countless hours she, and many other veterans wives, devoted to various functions at the Legion House in Honeoye Falls when it was the center of the community for social fund raisers and special celebratory occasions.
Very few people we know of today work 49 years, and for the same employer.
My sincere sympathy to the family.
