Obituary of Marian T. Swanger

Marian Teresa Swanger of Lima, NY died Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at age 93. She was born the daughter of the late Edward and Bertha Whalen on August 7, 1925 in Avon, NY. She worked alongside her husband Charles, who was co-owner of Prides Hardware in Honeoye Falls as the store office manager. She was a faithful member of St. Paul of the Cross Church. Marian is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Charles; children, Debra (George Ostrander) Swanger and Janet (Jeff) Scafetta; grandchildren, Cale (Sharon), Darrell (Aimee) and Benjamin (Katherine Miranda) Sigas and Eric Scafetta; nieces, Diane (John) Hagan, Sharon (Bill) Schumacher and Sandi (Mark) Morarity; nephews, Steve (Linda) and Craig (Cindy) Futter; special friends, Mary Rouse, Ellen Weber, Carol (Walt) Bettin and Ann Brule. No prior calling. Friends may attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 10 at 11 am at St. Paul of the Cross Church 37 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls. Burial St. Paul of the Cross Cemetery.
