Obituary of Alfred J. McCombs

Alfred J. McCombs of Rush, NY, died Friday, November 9, 2018 at age 92. Alfred was born April 24, 1926 in Wheatland, NY to the late Jacob and Matilda Collins McCombs. He was predeceased by his brothers William and Francis. Survived by his wife of 57 years Carol (Reamer); children, Neil (Kim), John (Ann), Patricia (Don Johncox) and Stephen (Eileen); grandchildren, Catherine, Brian, Justin, Bailey, Gavin, Johnna, Jacob and Jillian; several great grandchildren; sister, Marion Willson; sister-in-law Marion McCombs; former daughter-in-law Marion; several nieces and nephews. Alfred was a Marine Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict, Past Commander of the Stevens-Connor American Legion Post 1330 and a member of the VFW #412. Friends may call Friday, November 16 from 3-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, NY where Services will be held Saturday 11 am.
