Sending condolences from our family to yours.
We recall Denis as a warm and friendly man. Andy remembers him as kind and welcoming when Andy visited your East Thetford home.
Recently, I spoke with Heikki Makinen our exchange student (1981-82) who was friends with Paul. They had physics class together.
He was sorry for your family's loss.
May your family be blessed with wonderful memories and loving thoughts of Deny.

To Bonnie, Paul, Dom, Suzie and Renee,
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you today. When I saw the obituary, Bonnie, I remembered the good times living in E.Thetford! Many a day seeing Denny outside when I got home and visiting like we had not seen each other in days! To me that was true friendship and one I will never forget! Just a few things I have not forgotten. The times you folks invited me and us for suppers, Getting that hot pizza in Hanover hoo boy,,helping Dom Get corn at Cedar Circle, going to camp marking trees for cutting, But then things changed. You folks moved, while we raised Nate now a junior at Brandeis , Think of all often especially today as you celebrate his life. Anyone thinking of a practical joke to pull? He would love it!!
Love Gail and Gary

Judy & I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you Bonnie & your family on the passing of Denis.
We first met Denis in 1977 when I started working at Blodgett Supply and we worked together at Upper Valley Refrigeration.
He was such a mentor to me, helping me learn the refrigeration trade, behind the counter and later in the field @ UVR.
I will never forget his boisterous laugh, coupled with his genuine professionalism.
Our thoughts are with you all.
Love. - David & Judy Jorgensen

Bonnie, Paul, Dom, Suzi and Renee - I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I remember growing up next door to you in East Thetford. As a little kindergartner I thought your husband and dad was so LOUD because he loved to laugh. He made everyone smile. I remember Denny and my dad, Bob Eaton, manning the grill for the many summer chicken BBQ fundraisers for the Volunteer Fire Department, playing Red Light Green Light and Red Rover in your backyard at twilight with your dad yelling for us to come inside, and your dad giving my parents gardening advice. I can picture him standing out in the corn.
He will be missed by many.

We feel so lucky to have had Denny and Bonnie for our neighbors in E. Thetford. We still miss hearing Bonnie's laughter and Denny's very large sneezes coming from their stone house on hot summer nights; seeing Denny and his children in epic tomato fights to close out the gardening season; his dedication to his neighbors as President of the East Thetford Water Company; trying in vain to keep our lawn as tidy as his (an impossible task). We will remember Denny with great fondness. Our thoughts are with Bonnie and their family.

My deepest condolences to Bonnie & family. I worked with Deny @ Upper Valley Refrigeration & ARC Mechanical, can't express enough what a wonderful man he was to work with. Always was able to find the joy in life, and totally enjoyed a practical joke. One such joke has stayed with me over the decades that I'd like to share.
Deny knew that I frequently accessed the top drawer of my desk. When I wasn't there he stuffed, and I mean stuffed, the drawer with packing peanuts. When I got back, my mood not very positive, I needed something in the drawer & opened it. Peanuts flew everywhere. Once I was past the shock of flying peanuts I couldn't stop laughing. Bad mood gone, life is in perspective again. That's what he did, kept life in perspective.
Many years have passed since our time together, I've thought of him often. I pray that God may grant you peace.
