Obituary of Bernard P. Speers

Bernard P. Speers of Rush, NY died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Highland Hospital. He was age 92. Bernard was born in Toronto, Canada the son of the late Charles and Kathleen Connolly Speers. Bernie retired from the Aerial Reconnaissance area of Eastman Kodak Company after 31 years. The family would like to thank the staff at Highland Hospital ICU & Hospice, nurses at Lifetime Care and Dr. James Horohoe for the excellent and loving care they gave to Bernie and his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Angelica Era Speers; daughters, Bonnie (Tom) Bushart and Kathleen (Dan) Szaba; grandchildren, Matthew (Jocelyn) Bushart and Veronica Szaba; great granddaughter due in February; sister, Audrey O'Brien and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers, John, Frank, Kenny, Leo and sister, Irene. Services will be Private. Memorials to one's favorite charity in Bernie's memory.
