Obituary of James R. Marks

James Robert Marks of Honeoye Falls, NY, was with his wife Marjory Park when he passed away on Friday March 22, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. Jim was born October 10, 1946 in Rochester, NY, to Joseph and Adelaide (Peachey) Marks. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1964. Jim served with the U.S. Army's First Air Cavalry during the Vietnam War. Jim never met a person that he could not have a conversation with. He enjoyed family, friends, sports, dogs, euchre and the occasional casino excursion. Most of all, he enjoyed time with Marjory either on the golf course, or in the back yard at the koi pond! Jim is survived by his wife Marjory; children Judith, Michael (Beth), Jennifer, and Julie (DJ); stepchildren Tony (Lesa) and Lisa; sister Mary Ellen (Eugene); grandchildren Jack, Sam, Luke, Anton, Tiffany and Kristen; niece Tracy. Family and friends will be received on Thursday March, 28, 2019, from 4-7 PM followed by a Military Service at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., 59 Monroe St., Honeoye Falls, NY.
