Obituary of Cleo W. Eisenberg

Cleo W. Eisenberg of Rush, died peacefully, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at her home at age 87. Cleo will best be remembered for her beautiful smile, unconditional love and devotion to her family. Cleo was born the daughter of Floyd and Leona Vroman Babcock on September 16, 1926 in Watertown, NY. She enjoyed homemaking, hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling and her time spent at Black Lake. As a member of Thunder Ridge C.C., she served as president of the Ladies Golf Assoc. in the early 80's. During her years of involvement with the Steven Connor American legion Auxiliary, Cleo held various offices as well. Cleo is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert; daughters, Karen (Tom) McHale and Elaine (Donnie) Powell; 6 grandchildren, Cindy, Bobby, Thomas, Amy, Jesse, Rebecca and 8 great grandchildren. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Lifetime Hospice and to the "special angels" who cared for "Miss Cleo". A celebration of her life will be held TODAY, Friday September 27, 2013 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, where Services will be held Saturday at 11 am. Burial will be held privately. Because Cleo was pre-deceased by her infant granddaughter Brook Powell, please consider a donation to the Golisano Children's Hospital, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642.
