Obituary of Vincent A. Konyar

Vincent A. Konyar of West Bloomfield, NY, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family at age 73. He was born January 14, 1946 in Trevorton, PA, the son of the late Vincent P. and Margaret (Braubitz) Konyar. He was a retired Manufacturing Engineer for General Motors and was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Lima. Vincent was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Cynthia (Toscano) Konyar. Vincent is survived by his daughters, Tracy (Scott) Sonricker of Honeoye Falls, Kelly (Jonathan) Babbitt of Mendon, Bonnie (Darrell) Prouty and Shelby (Cory) Grundman all of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Summer, Terra, Joshua, Gavin, Aiden, Derek, Daniel and Hunter; sister, Jane (Bob Troutman) Konyar; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 12 pm to 3 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 10 am at St. Rose Catholic Church, 1985 Lake Ave., Lima, NY. Burial St. Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Rose Church.
