Obituary of Nicole K. DiBella

Nicole K. DiBella of Honeoye Falls, age 42, passed away at home on May 18 after a 3 ½ year battle with brain cancer. She is survived by her mother, Ginny, and step-father, Kent; father, Ernie; sister and brother-in-law, Lindsay and Mike; nephew and niece, William and Camden. She is also survived by her Grandma Ginny; Aunts Colleen and Lydia (Glenn); Uncles Tom (Helen) and Jim (Theo) as well as many extended family members and friends. Nicki started working for Ikea shortly after graduating from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She began her career in Pittsburgh, PA, then moved to Phoenix, AZ to work there for several years before becoming the Communication and Interior Design Manager at the store in New Haven, CT. She traveled extensively through her work with Ikea and made many lifelong friends. Nicki will always be remembered for her love of life, laughter, sassiness, strength, courage and devotion to her family and friends. This amazing Wonder Woman will truly be missed. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all her family, friends, acquaintances, co-workers, caregivers and medical teams. We will be planning a memorial service in Honeoye Falls and a celebration of Nicki's life in Beach Haven, NJ sometime in the future.
