Obituary of Gwendolyn Mary Mack

Gwendolyn Mary Mack "Gwen, Ma, Gram, Eemie, Mee Mee" of Rush, NY passed away peacefully, November 3, 2013 at the Fairport Baptist Home at age 94. She was born February 24, 1919 in Rush, NY the daughter of Frank and Florence Short Harding. She graduated from Rush High School, which is now the Rush Post Office. Gwen was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence and her son Richard Mack. She is survived by her loving children, Lawrence (Barbara) Mack, Kay Mack, Karyn (Thomas) Rogerson; daughter in law, Debbie Mack (Terry Button); grandchildren, Allen (Martha), Steven, Darren, Heather (Todd) Krenzer, Shannon (Christopher) Jockel, Ashley (Kelly Towns) Rogerson, Scott (Alexandra) Rogerson; great grandchildren, David (Cheryl), Sarah, Christopher (Jenna), Kimberly, Austin Mack, MacKenzie Krenzer; great great grandchild, Sadie; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Brian Steele and the staff at Fairport Baptist Home for the wonderful care they provided. Gwen was a member of the Rush Senior Citizens and the Wendy Wednesday Group. She also enjoyed her time playing cards with family and friends. Friends may call Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 3-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls where Services will be held Thursday at 11 am. Burial, Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rotary Sunshine Camp, Sunshine Campus Dick Mack Nature Center, 180 Linden Oaks, Rochester, NY 14625.
