Obituary of M. Joyce Groet

M. Joyce Groet of Mendon, NY, died Sunday August 2, 2020 at the age 90. Joy was all about family. Her life revolved around those she loved so dearly. She held a special friendship with her niece Elaine. Joy always had a special place in her heart for her beloved Boston Terriers, Holly, Alfie and Tillie. She enjoyed the unconditional love and companionship they offered her. She was a hard worker and overcame many things her life. True "Grit" to the end. Joy was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2010. She is survived by her loving children, Steve, Glenn (Karen) and Cindy (John) Matthews; 7 grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including special niece Elaine. No prior calling. Graveside Services Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 12 pm at Mendon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.
