Obituary of Robert J. Washburn

Robert J. Washburn of Rush, NY died September 6, 2012 at age 69. He was born the son of Robert and June Schenkel Washburn on February 3, 1943 in Rochester, NY. Bob is predeceased by his parents and his wife Penny. He is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends and neighbors including special friends Barbara Corona and Scott Pundt. Bobby worked at Koerner Ford for several years and was later top salesman at the Dorschel Group in the new car sales. He was a life member of the Conesus Lake Sportsman's Club in Lakeville, where he was the MC for many 300 club parties and shot trap. Bobby loved his dogs and the many friends he had. Friends may call Monday, September 10, 2012 from 3-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls where Services will be held Tuesday at 11 am. Private burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
