Obituary of Robert G. Bock

Robert G. Bock, 89 of Rush, NY died Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Highland Hospital. He was born the son of the late Raymond and Lucy Fowler Bock on August 14, 1932. Robert was a member of the Rush United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of the Rush Fire Department and was the owner of the former Bock's Grocery in Rush until it closed in 1994. Robert retired from the Town of Rush Highway Department. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth in 2012. He is survived by his son Steve (Christine) Bock and daughter Cindy Bock; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sister, Doris (Raymond) Sutton, along with several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday, January 10, 2022 from 4-6 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls where Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am, the Rev. Charles Grimm officiating. Burial with Military Honors in Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Rush Fire Department or to the Wild Wings Bird Sanctuary in Mendon Ponds Park.
