Obituary of John C. Burns

Dr. John C. Burns Henrietta: Founder of Henrietta Animal Hospital, passed away February 12, 2022 at age 89. He was predeceased by his belove wife, Ann R. Burns. He is survived by daughter Suzanne Fator (Tony), son John W. Burns, daughter Eileen Frediani (Chuck Oppelt); grandchildren, Anne Leenhouts (Kyle), James Fator, Patrick Frediani, Mary Fator and Ryan Oppelt; 4 great grandchildren; beloved companion Mary Galvin and dog Molly. John did his undergraduate studies and received his degree in Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. He was an avid pilot, fisherman, member of the Knights of Columbus, ham radio operator and later in life, a salesman for Central Petroleum Company. Friends may call Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 3-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 16 at 10 am at St. Marianne Cope Parish in St. Joseph's Church, 1209 Rush West Rush Road, Rush. Burial Pine Hill Cemetery.
