Obituary of R. Eileen Ramsdell

R. Eileen Ramsdell of Victor, NY passed peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Margaret Birchenough, brother William Birchenough, sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Francis Garifo, Benjamin Renzi, Margaret and Charles Perrine and Sharon MacIlvennie and nephew Anthony Renzi. She is survived by her children, Debra (William) Mantelli, Robert (Elizabeth) Ramsdell and Gary (Kirsten) Ramsdell; grandchildren, Robert, Thomas, Emma, and Katherine Ramsdell; her sisters Catherine Shaughnessy and Elizabeth Renzi, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Eileen was a longtime resident of Honeoye Falls before moving to Victor. She was born in Watertown, NY and grew up in Mannsville, NY. She graduated from Mannsville High School. She was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Church, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Adult Choir. She was an avid golfer and a member of the WNLL at Brongo Bowl. She was secretary of the Gypsum Mills MHC Homeowners Association. Eileen worked at the Iroquois Gas office in Honeoye Falls and at James S. Sullivan Agency in Honeoye Falls and Lima. Friends may call Friday, May 20, 2022, from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, NY. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bridget's Church, Bloomfield, NY on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.
