Jim, I just learned of Ruby's passing last May. I am so sorry to hear this and my heart goes out to you and your family. You all meant so much to her and she was so very proud of her grandsons. She was a remarkable woman, and extremely talented! You go down in the records of the Holloway House as our most devoted patrons. We always knew it was Friday because you were there for lunch. My prayers for you as you carry on without her. Dawn Wayne. My love to you!

Jim and family; I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Ruby. I drive by your house often and have wondered how you two were doing. I didn’t know her well but she was always so nice whenever I called for you regarding a Zoning Board matter. What a wonderful life it seems the two of you have had (all those years). I am so sorry.

My dear friend and coworker for many years, Ruby! So many wonderful memories of us riding around in golf carts together on event days and laughing. Thank you, Ruby, for capturing the village like nobody else could have for 30 years….we owe you so much…..you truly were “simply the best.”

Sympathy to Ruby's entire family. I lived on the same street ( West St. and later named Yorke Rd W) in York as did the Foote family. My mother, Martha Curry, was a friend of Ruby and Jim. She spoke of the many talents of Ruby as well as the talents of Jim. May Ruby rest in peace.

I could fill the page with memories of my Aunt Ruby but I think I will save them and share them privately with my uncle and cousins. She almost always had a smile and was giggling about something..a Marlow trait. It seems like the end of an era for our family. I have never liked change. We will miss her terribly, and cherish all the years we had with her and be thankful for the long life she was given. God bless you Uncle Jim, Kelly, Dana and families. OOXX
