Obituary of Marie R. Brokaw

Marie R. Brokaw age 78 of Mendon died Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Highland Hospital. She was born the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruby Rogers Schaller on December 19, 1943 in Rochester, NY. She retired from the Fairport Baptist Home where she worked as a nurse for over 20 years. Marie was loved by all she took care of at the home. She treasured all of her family and was so very proud of her 4 sons. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Arland "Art"; her sons, Arland (Barbara), David (Joanne), Jeffrey (Danielle) and Ryan; grandchildren, Cassandra, Jared, Lucas, Trevor, Kyle, Stephen and Matthew; brothers, Thomas (Kathy) and Joseph (Phillip Bennett) Schaller; many loving nieces, nephews and friends and her loving puppy Chloe. Friends may call Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 7 at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena, 26 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon. Entombment, Whitehaven Memorial Park.
