Ann (Rowlinson) Pennington of Honeoye Falls

Born Sept 24, 1936 in West Bloomfield NY passed away peacefully November 12, 2022 at the Friendly Home of Rochester at the age of 86.

Ann was a caretaker to all- from family to friends she made everyone feel welcome. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandma, and friend. She loved to garden, bake, cook, sew and craft often sharing the products of those hobbies with others at holidays and special occasions. As a grandma, she will be remembered for spoiling her boys with treats and fun times spent in the pool and snow. She and Walt devoted themselves to maintaining their Doran Road property meticulously for over 55 years.

Ann is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years Walter (Joe); daughters, Barb (Bob) Struble of Sun City Center, FL and Sue (John) Lanphere of Honeoye Falls; her grandsons, AJ (Rachel) Laveer and Cameron Lanphere, her youngest brother George (Paula) Rowlinson, her sister-in-law Muffy Meisenzahl, and several nieces and nephews.

Ann's family thanks the entire staff at The Friendly Home's memory care unit and Rochester Regional Hospice for their unending care, compassion, and kindness throughout Ann's struggle with Alzheimer's disease.

Ann will be buried in a private service at the West Bloomfield Rural Cemetery just down the road from her childhood home.
