Jenel Irene Johnson of Lima, NY, Loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter and Friend passed tragically in a motor vehicle accident on 11/27/2022. She is survived by her daughter Emery (7), mother Leia DeAngelis (Angelo), father Brian Johnson (Trudy Chapman), two loving sisters Bobbie Jo Borglum (Jared) and Autumn Struble (Cliff), grandfather James Backlas, nieces Collins and Kinsley, nephews Colton and Reid, as well as Emery's father Tony Martinez and a large community of great friends. Jenel had a giving spirit and was an angel when it came to being there for her friends and loved ones, but nothing compares to how she shined as a mother to Emery. Her infectious laugh and ability to light up any room was second to none. She loved the outdoors; especially hiking and kayaking with her dog Storm. She touched so many lives in her short time here with us and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Friends may call Monday, December 5, 2022 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday morning, 10 am at St. Catherine of Siena, 26 Mendon Ionia Road in Mendon. Father Rob Bourcy celebrant.
