Barbara S. Malcolm, 79, of Canandaigua, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, March 25, 2023 following heart failure. She is predeceased by her parents Bernard and Ruth Schmidt, her aunt Erma Whitbeck and brother James Schmidt, all of whom she cared for during their final years.

Barbara's is survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years Sidney and her daughter and best friend, Amy (Joseph Myers). In addition to her immediate family, Barbara leaves behind sisters-in-law Carol (Paul) Marvin and Julie (Gary) Twentymon, several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and dear friends.

Barbara was a beautiful human being with a heart of gold who would do anything for her family and loved with her whole heart.

At her request, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice. Life changes in a second... live today to the fullest.
