You would have been 65 today. Hope you are having a heavenly Birthday. Ken and I speak of you often. Mindi's little boy would have loved having you tease him like you used to all the kids. RIP, Rog, til we all meet again.

Can't believe you have been gone a year already. I will never forget the phone call that you were gone. So many times this past year we have missed your laugh and conversations. I guess Mindi said it best at Aunt Maryannas funeral---- When someone you love becomes a memory - the memory becomes a treasure. RIP Rog

roger was like a brother to my father which in turn made him an uncle to us kids. No family function or birthday parties will be the same without you and your jiggly hugs as connor calls them. Rest in peace my friend till we see eachother again. Love you!

Roger was always at community events quietly lending his support. He was a good friend to Tom Weigert and his family. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

I will never forget my cousin Roger. We go back a long way together, because we were born the same year! Our fathers worked together, but they also enjoyed getting the families together for reunions, anniversary parties, picnics at Hastings' cottage on Honeoye Lake, swimming at Aunt Retta and Uncle Al's on Conesus Lake, etc. We rode the same school bus, and it seemed like half of the bus emptied when all the Wells's got off!. I didn't appreciate Roger's kindness and helpfulness when we were growing up (cousins rarely do), but as we aged and many in our family seemed to prematurely pass away, he didn't grow bitter but kept that thoughtful kind demeanor, and was always there for my family through our grief and sorrow, cheering us up with his smile and sincere words of sympathy. I will never forget that. I'll be praying for all the family and friends that will miss him so much. Cousin Cora (Wells) Clement, Kingston, MI

Roger was like a brother to us and an uncle to our children and then our grandkids. My fondest memory will be the "shaky" hugs you gave all the kids that knew you and how they would laugh. You will be missed but we will see you again someday. The Weigert Family

We are going to miss a great friend and remember allot of memories also. Deer hunting and cutting up meat, West Bloomfield Fire Dept, and trips we made to the Sparta gun raffles. Many, many great times. We have never met a more kinder and loving person as Rodger was. Proud to have know him and enjoyed his company. May you rest in piece Rodger.

I am so shocked and so sad that you are gone Cousin Rodgy! Going to Aunt Margey and Uncle Jonny's house when I was little was one of my favorite things! I remember you would always take me out to the kitchen and give me cookies or make me an ice cream cone. You would push me on the swings, play wiffle ball with me and pick me up when the Carter's bull dog would come into your yard haha. I loved watching you march in fireman's parades. I use to love seeing you outside working in your garden and sharing hunting stories with you. I'll miss your laugh and friendly smile the most. We sure have alot of family members in heaven who I know welcomed you with open arms. You will forever be missed and never forgotten!! Love you Roger...Til we meet again xoxo

The memories we have of Roger could fill a book. You were more like a brother than a cousin. Thank you for being the kind, gentle person that you were. You treated Ken like family the first time you met him and then all you did for us being in our wedding, helping renovate our house, being like an uncle to Adam and Mindi, the motorcycle rides. I could go on and on. You did all this with a smile on your face and never asked for anything in return. I will never forget my first group hunting experience with the "Wells". Ken said for me to stand by the big straw bale and he let you and I out of the truck. You said I'll stand here you go over by the open area if anything runs out. Little did I know I would be walking through a swamp. But at the end of the day we were all laughing and my feet and legs did dry. You are flying with the angels now and are reunited with so many family members. RIP Rog until we meet again. Love & Miss You Always, Louise & Ken
